About GrantJar
The tool we wished existed.
GrantJar started with a simple problem. Someone we love won a fellowship, a real honor and a real responsibility, and then faced the quiet, ongoing task of accounting for every dollar and reporting it back to the funder. The options were a sprawling spreadsheet and a folder of fading receipts. Neither felt good enough for the work.
So we built GrantJar: a calm, warm place to track a grant. You set up your award once, log expenses in seconds, keep every receipt attached, and watch a honey jar show exactly how much is left. When it is time to report, the work is already done.
We made it free because the people doing this work (fellows, researchers, artists, community leaders, and social entrepreneurs) should spend their energy on the work itself, not the bookkeeping.
GrantJar is made by Maroon Labs, a software studio in Minnesota.
